Independently owned and a sister store to Global Pursuit, Jake's on 96th is dedicated to the Life is good brand of merchandise.

As a Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe, Jake's carries an extensive array of all Life is good products including some exclusively available at Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe locations. As Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe owners, Andy & Lynn Moceri and their staff, are committed to not only providing you with a complete Life is good shopping experience, but also to spreading optimism every day and helping kids in need.

A Little History

Global Pursuit has featured the Life is good® brand of tee shirts for the whole family since 1996, almost since the very first designs were available. Now that the line has grown to include sportswear, infants clothing, house wares, pet products and beach toys, and even furniture, it was time to give the products their own space. Jake's on 96th opened in 2008 and, thanks to all our loyal customers, proved to be a success.

Jake is the name of the character in most of the graphics and is named for Bert and John Jacobs who are the founders and owners of the company. The story of their rise from street vendors to the owners of a multi million dollar company committed to spreading optimism and to giving back to kids in need is the stuff of legends.
