Tiva
Teva is a Hebrew word meaning Friendship and Water. Providing positive contributions to the world in which we live is inherent in everything that they, and their parent company Deckers Outdoor, stand for. As the leader in the sport sandal industry, Teva focuses on incorporating environmentally friendly technology in their footwear and packaging. Along with Microban, they have developed a zinc based anti microbial, used to inhibit odor and bacteria in footwear, but which is inert and safe for the environment. They strive to use post-consumer recycled rubber in footwear, as well as recycled webbings and strapping systems where appropriate. Shoeboxes are post-consumer recycled and printed using soy-based inks, which are gentler on the environment than traditional printing processes. Born deep in the canyons of Arizona, Teva has long been synonymous with freedom, nature and the outdoors.
